Two winters ago I slipped and fell flat on my ass after catching a bit of air on the busiest intersection in my city. I was walking with my dad and instead of trying to help me up, he stood and laughed deep belly laughs. Someone honked and to top it off, I was wearing a beret.
Somehow the beret makes it 100x worse than it would’ve been otherwise.

Did I mention that I was recently asked out by a 45 year old (rough estimate) Elvis impersonator? Yep, sure was. Several days later he came back into the bar, got hammered and proceeded to apologize for asking me out. He said “Can you blame me? You’re a beautiful woman and I’m a handsome man. Aren’t I handsome?”
I ran away after that last question was posed to me....
