Ok, so I just wanted to vent a little about this whole ACTA/SOPA/Bill C-11 and now the U.N. wanting internet control…
What the hell is going on? If there really nothing worse going on in the world that now even the U.N. thinks it should get involved in trying to ruin the Internet?
Seriously now, shouldn’t you be focused on helping out third world countries or stopping war or...

Macaron saga: Part 1
My first attempt at making macaron has failed miserably.
I didn’t take pictures of the finished product because I don’t want photographic evidence laying around to depress me.
I have found a French Pâtisserie locally and am going to see if they will a) sell me some macaron (which I’m sure they’ll have no issue with) and b) teach me to make them.
Will update with how...

Dinner: Real subtle, Dad
The Scene- I am preparing chilli in the kitchen for dinner. Dad comes home and goes straight downstairs with no clue what I'm making. I have now finished the chilli and hear my name being called from downstairs.
Dad: Do you want some help with the garlic toast?!
Me: There is no garlic toast
Dad: (Confused sound) Whaaa...
Apparently garlic toast is supposed to go with every meal I prepare.

I have handed in my notice at my job. I am petrified about moving home to Canada (which will be happening in November). I’ve got a lot of mixed emotions going on. I feel like we’ve just settled into our lives here in the UK and now we’re uprooting them to start fresh again.
